This is absolutely a band to keep an eye on: The New Schematics, from Nashville, are basically a duo composed by the two best friends Cory Bishop and Michael Bare. They will release their self-titled debut EP, financed by a successful Kickstarter campaign (where they raised $9.000 in just 14 days), next October 2.

On the EP, recorded in a studio in Franklin, TN, with producer Andrew Bergthold (Chris Tomlin, for King & Country, Blanca), the duo is joined by John Briggs on vocals and electric guitars, Eric Montgomery on keys and synths and Ayrton Gauerke on drums and percussion.

The New Schematics play honest, modern rock with classic sensibilities that draws from a dynamic mix of musical styles and influences (The Killers, Bruce Springsteen, Dawes, The Cars): have a taste of Bishop & Bare sound watching the videos for they first two singles, Born Without Borders and the just released The Breakdown (click on the image above).
