Mark Stoermer

Last year was Brandon Flowers' turn, last summer was Ronnie Vannucci's time (with his project Big Talk), this autumn is the moment for The Killers' bass player Mark Stoermer to release a record outside the main band.

What's really exciting is that Mark has made available "Another Life", his self released album, as a free download for a limited time. A limited pressing of Vinyl and CD's will follow.

All you have to do to secure your digital copy of "Another Life" is heading to Mark's website and click on Download. Simple as that!

London-based australian indie rock band Howling Bells will release their third studio album "The Loudest Engine" on September 12th, 2011, through independent record label Cooking Vinyl.

Howling Bells' members started writing for the album while they were on the road supporting Coldplay in 2009. The band chose to allow the Killers' bassist Mark Stoermer to produce the album, which was his first experience as a record producer. They connected with him while they appeared as the opening act for his band on three separate occasions in 2006 and 2007.

The first single off the new record is titled "Into The Sky", and you can download it now from iTunes, where you can also listen to a snippet of the song. In addiction, you can download the titletrack of the new album for free at their website.
