I don't know if you remember the post-grunge band Big Dismal from Florida: they released their debut Believe in 2003 on Wind-up Records: it included the fantastic single Remember (I.O.U.) and the song Missing You that featured Amy Lee (from Evanescence).
Rolling Stone named Big Dismal one of "Five Christian Bands on the Rise," the album received critical acclaim, but failed to sell well, and the band, sadly, split.

The good news is that in February 2015 Big Dismal announced that they had reformed and a new mini-album would be available later in the year.
