Ghost Lit Kingdom is an LA based indie band who released their debut single You Don't Know Me a few weeks ago.
The track was mixed by Ken Andrews (Paramore, Jimmy Eat World, Nine Inch Nails, Beck) and recorded at Suburban Soul Studios by Charlie Park and Nick Zagorin.
You Don't Know Me showcases Ghost Lit Kingdom's dramatic approach to indie pop with torrential vocal harmonies akin to acts like Monsters and Men and Arcade Fire, but with an eclectic range of influences: the band mixes folk, pop, alternative rock and jazz, creating an unparalleled sound.
"The song is meant to be a cathartic expression of the attempt to define oneself separate from any external affiliation and the difficulty that often accompanies that endeavor", says guitar player Taylor Morrow about the single.
You Don’t Know Me is the first release in a series of singles we can expect from Ghost Lit Kingdom this year. Their anthemic indie style will be sure to captivate a growing fan base in the Los Angeles indie scene.
