weChameleon's long time followers know I've a spot for David Amezcua and his brilliant songwriting.

David broke on to the music scene in the cult favorite band Under The Influence Of Giants who were signed to Island Records in 2005. Their popular single Mama's Room was a #1 hit on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart. Several members of that band later reunited as members of Awolnation, fronted by Aaron Bruno. Amezcua played bass and sang back up vocals as the band toured the world playing sold out clubs and arena dates in support of the juggernaut hit single Sail. David was also the mainman of indie/funky/retro powerpop act Hotstreets, who released a gem of an album in 2010.

Now, independent and self managed, the new Amezcua's project is CASTOUTOFPARADISE, with the debut EP The Center Cannot Hold released last Friday, October 23.
