From the bio: "Founded in Los Angeles in 2009 by a "lover and lunatic" named French, and a crew of musicians and friends, Annie Autonatic started the ceremonial fire immediately with their EP "Fighting Chances" - started, finished, and made available within 90 days. In 2010 they released 3 singles. They also began working on a more in-depth, powerful album, "Don't Look Down", to be released August, 23."
French is influenced by everything from early Beatles and Motown to the trash of glamorous punks like Iggy Pop to even the pulsating electronic sounds of the underground clubscenes in LA, NY and Europe.
