"Mildred (Lost A Friend)" is the second single off "Old Souls", the third full-length album for English alternative rockers Deaf Havana, to be released September 16 on BMG Chrysalis.
The single, written by Matthew Veck-Gilodi and produced by his brother James with YOUTH (The Verve, Primal Scream, Crowded House), is the first song where Matt and James share vocal duties.
""Mildred" is essentially about growing up so closely with someone, imagining that your life will run parallel to theirs and then seeing said person growing up too young, getting a job and assuming responsibilities beyond their years" said Matt.
