Punchline - Tell Me How You Sleep

Punchline is an American rock/pop punk band from Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania. They have just released an highly entertaining new album, Thrilled, on InVogue Records (Warner Music distribution).

Thrilled dropped last December 4 and was produced by Marc McClusky (Motion City Soundtrack, Everclear, Weezer).

Chris Fafalios, bass player, vocalist, songwriter and founding member said about Thrilled: "Both lyrically and melodically, it was the absolute pinnacle of our career as a songwriting team. We didn't spend much time thinking about what particular "style" each song was. Instead, we focused mainly on writing the best songs possible, regardless of whether it would fit into the preconceived notions of what Punchline was. Some of the songs ended up being a natural progression for our sound, and some of the songs came from a very different place. Either way, we loved what we had written, and when you take all the other factors away, that's what really matters - creating something that YOU love and that YOU would listen to."

WILLIAM BECKETT: Genuine or Counterfeit? mercoledì, 21 agosto 2013 21:00 by madseason
William Beckett - Benny & Joon

Ex-The Academy Is... frontman William Beckett has just released his first full-length album "Genuine & Counterfeit", on Equal Vision Records. The album was recorded in his hometown of Chicago, IL with producer Marc McClusky (Weezer, Ludo, Everclear).

"This new record is nothing less than my greatest musical accomplishment," told Beckett. "And after writing and releasing the three EPs last year, working with Marc McClusky was a no brainer. While we share the same vision for the album, we are also constantly pushing and challenging each other to lift it to next level."
