SHEL – EPK for “Just Crazy Enough” LP

An update on the soon-to-be pop-folk stars SHEL: their new album, Just Crazy Enough, will be released next May 13. Pre-order it and receive exclusive bonus tracks through PledgeMusic.

"On May 13th we will release our favorite album yet, and we're extremely excited for it to reach your ears" the four girls said. "With the help of Dave Stewart (the Eurythmics) and 6-time Grammy Award winning producer Brent Maher, we 've been exploring a new sonic landscape with a twist on our acoustic sound, augmented by programming, analog synth, and beatboxing. In the process of writing the album, we 've opened a subconscious journal about the daily questions concerning life, love, fear, and the definition of sanity. It 's been an incredible journey making Just Crazy Enough."

Thanks to great folks at Noisetrade, you can download for free (or pay-what-you-want) the Crazy Enough Collection, a six-song EP featuring two tracks from Just Crazy Enough - the addictive single You Could Be My Baby and Let Me Do - plusf our exclusive bonus tracks that were featured in TV shows and films but only available for download on NoiseTrade.

SHEL are ready for stardom mercoledì, 5 agosto 2015 21:48 by madseason
SHEL, You Could Be My Baby

I'd like to talk about these girls a little bit before they become huge: SHEL is a pop folk band from Fort Collins, Colorado, composed of the four Holbrook sisters, where SHEL is an acronym for their names, Sarah, Hannah, Eva and Liza.
Eva is on lead vocals, guitar, banjo, cello, and mandolin; Hannah on vocals, accordion and keys; Sarah on vocals, bass and fiddle; Liza on percussion, djembe and beat boxing.

They are all classically trained and began their career backing up their father, guitarist/singer Andrew Holbrook.

SHEL moved to the Nashville area at the beginning of 2015, where they have joined forces with co-manager Dave Stewart, the creative genius behind Eurythmics, to work on a yet-untitled album to be released later in the year.
