One Less Reason - Break Me

A couple of weeks more, and One Less Reason's 6th studio record The Memories Uninvited will be finally out!

The new album was produced by frontman Cris Brown and mixed by Randy Staub (Metallica, Nickelback, Motley Crue) and will be released next August 19 on Tattooed Millionaire Records, the label Brown founded with John Falls in 2014.

I'm happy to report that The Memories Uninvited is a spectacular modern hard rock album that brings you back to the times when the likes of Fuel, Seether, Staind, (early days) Nickelback, Hoobastank, Shinedown, ruled the rock airwaves.

"I was determined I wasn’t going to crank out songs quickly, just to put the album together. If it took me five years to do it, I was going to make sure this record sounded exactly as I wanted it" said Cris.
And the result is nothing short than amazing, with the band revisiting some of the older styles of OLR with throwbacks that could've easily found a place on Everydaylife or A Lifetime Burning, and the usual combination of muscle and tenderness in the music that places the album beyond the easy confines of the hard rock genre.

"If I decided to stop making music after this album," says Brown, "I could say that with The Memories Uninvited I’d said what I set out to say with One Less Reason. Not to say there won't be more music. But I could say I'd finished all the chapters of my book. The Memories Uninvited feels like it summarizes that project. It's brutally honest. That's what I set out to do when I started."

One Less Reason - Where Were You?

One Less Reason are back! The Jackson, Tennessee based band will release their new album The Memories Uninvited in the coming Spring.

The Memories Uninvited will be One Less Reason's 6th studio record since forming in 2004. This record finds frontman Cris Brown taking OLR into heavier territory with songs like On The Way Down and The Trade that could've found a place on Everydaylife in 2005 or the ballads Sometimes and Where Were You? would not have been out of place on A Lifetime Burning in 2007. But, according to the press release, The Memories Uninvited will have a sound all its own while paying tribute to previous works by Brown. This will be OLR's first release on Tattooed Millionaire Records and is slated for a May release.

Good news for rock music lovers, as One Less Reason have just released a brand new EP titled "A Blueprint For Writhing".

Cris Brown & Co. deliver 6 great, intense songs with this EP, including "Never Let You Go", that features the late Anthony Basurto from Joan Red; Anthony was a friend of Cris' and passed away last year at only 26, shortly after recording the vocals for the song.

Ond Less Reason shot a clip for track number five, "Uneasy", featuring country singer Blair Simpson: watch the touching video now clicking on the image on the left.
