Californian indie rockers The Airborne Toxic Event's new studio album was officialy released yesterday.

"Such Hot Blood" is the title of the third full-length record for the band from Los Feliz, Los Angeles and is out through Island Records, with the production of Jacquire King (Dawes, Of Monsters and Men, Tom Waits).

The Veils are a London-based indie/alternative rock band fronted by charismatic lead singer and songwriter Finn Andrews.

Their fourth studio album was recorded in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles and was produced by frontman Finn Andrews and Adam Greenspan, and mixed by Bill Price (The Clash, The Jesus and Mary Chainand). It's titled "Time Stays, We Go" and is released this week through Pitch Beast Records.

New York based rockers The Virgins released their sophomore album "Strike Gently" last month on Cult Records, the label recently founded by Julian Casablancas of The Strokes.

The 10 track album was recorded at the East Village Recording Center in NY by Johnny T Yerington and Gus Oberg.

"Strike Gently" is quite a different record from the dance/wave sounding self-titled debut: this new one appears like a post-rock version of Dire Straits. Cool nonetheless.

Reasons Be is a Los Angeles-based duo who plays really nice and inspired acoustic based pop-rock songs in the vein of Dave Matthews Band, Jason Mraz and John Mayer.

Reasons Be was named in December 2012 one of the top 100 unsigned bands in the U.S.A. by the influential Music Connection Magazine, so I'm in very good company in liking their sunny, refreshing sound.

As previously posted, British rockers from Camden, London, Tribes, will release their sophomore album, entitled "Wish To Scream", on May, 20th 2013. The follow-up to their 2012 debut "Baby" was recorded at Los Angeles' Sound City Studios with producer Kevin Augunas (Butch Walker, Rev Theory, Lostprophets).
