Florence + The Machine

Oh my god, another clip from Florence + The Machine! This is the sixth for songs off the amazing album "Ceremonials". And Flo & Co. also released the video for "Breath Of Life", from the upcoming movie "Snow White And The Huntsman", just a few weeks ago: that makes 7 in about 10 months. Phew...

The new video is for the song "Breaking Down" and was directed by Tabitha Denholm, who also worked on the videos for "Rabbit Heart", "Cosmic Love", "You've Got The Love" and "Heavy In Your Arms".

"Breaking Down", a sort of a nostalgiac take on the tour in diary format, features a sentimental tone with a Super8 feel. Watch the video now by clicking on the image above.

The new single will be released July 8th and comes backed with "Breaking Down", also from "Ceremonials" plus remixes by Calvin Harris, AlunaGeorge and Maya Jane Coles.

The video, directed by the legendary David LaChapelle with coreography courtesy of famed John Byrne, premiered a few hours ago, and sees Florence Welch surrounded by a bevy of ballerinas and stood on top of an art deco cityscape. Watch it now by clicking on the frame on the left.

"The song is about water in all forms and all bodies -Florence explains- "It's about a lot of things; Virginia Woolf creeps into it, and of course Frida Kahlo, whose painfully beautiful painting gave me the title."
