MISSIO - KDV ft. SHUG

MISSIO is an American alternative/electronic duo from Austin, Texas.

MISSIO was formed in 2014 by songwriter/vocalist Matthew Brue who created a series of songs in a 1974 airstream trailer that he was currently residing in.
After the completion of his demo's, Brue hired friend and local producer/engineer/multi-instrumentalist David Butler to collaberate on the self titled EP, which would later be released in November 2014. After unexpected online success, Brue made his debut appearence under the name MISSIO at the SXSW festival in 2015 with help from Butler. As the project progressed months later, Matthew invited David to join the project officially in July of 2015.

MISSIO's debut record Loner was released last May 19 via RCA Records and is one for Imagine Dragons, X Ambassadors and Foster The People lovers. Loner features the singles Middle Fingers, which peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard's Alternative Songs chart, Bottom Of The Deep Blue Sea and KDV.

"Going into your first listen know this: every lyric you will hear is real and based on personal experience" said the duo on the eve of the release of Loner, adding "It's a story about struggle, addiction, and loneliness. We hope it speaks to you just as it has to us personally."
