of Verona - Kids On The Street

Indie/progressive electro-pop rockers of Verona have just released their second full-length album Glass Beach via De Novo Music Group.

Glass Beach was released last friday, February 24 and includes the lead singles Kids On The Street (watch the video clicking on the image) and Can You Hear Me and a very personal cover of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here.

Lead singer and songwriter, Mandi Perkins, recently commented on the new record: "Things have been super busy over here. We've had a bunch of TV and FILM placements around the world and have also been focused on our respective side projects. It's taken over two years to complete because Dil [Dillon Pace, the other half of Verona] and I live in different states now, but after fitting all the pieces together, we really dig the album and we hope you will too. All the songs were written by the band, and this time around, we were fortunate to have the awesome Caleb Shreve [Switchfoot, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez] mix the record. It's more layered than before, but that's what a Glass Beach is about. Sometimes the things we love most cut us the deepest. The point is, how much pain is the pleasure worth."
