Lips - Painkiller

Lips are a three-piece "terrorist" pop rock act from Toronto, Canada, influenced by Manic Street Preachers, Ghost, Foxy Shazam, The Ark, The Darkness, The Cure, Iron Maiden.

They play songs with melodic guitar solos, catchy riffs and sing infectious choruses: "if Ziggy Stardust, The Clash and The Cure had a baby together it would sound and look a lot like Lips", you can read in their bio.

The trio -featuring Christian Patrick (lead vocals/lead guitar/producer, writer of the book "No End: The Story Of The Ark", about one of Sweden's greatest rock bands), Dave Vasey (bass/backing vocals) and James Young (drums/backing vocals)-  is known for its effervescent, energetic and somewhat mysterious live shows in which the band wears ski masks or gas masks.

Lips debuted last July with the single "Painkiller" (watch the video clicking on the image) and, to celebrate the band's first birthday, have posted last December 5, on BandCamp, their debut EP "Face The Night" (in its entirety) for your listening pleasure, ahead of its official 2015 release date
