Nashville electronic-punk rockers Five Knives have just premiered a new video for the titletrack of their debut EP "The Rising", released last February via Red Bull Records.

The video has a really interesting story behind it. It was made in collaboration with the Los Angeles Music Video Festival as part of a contest called "Life's a Pitch", where five video directors pitched the band, their management and the label video treatment ideas in a full theatre on the opening night of the festival. What you see here is the band's winning pick, created by L.A.'s Nautico filmmaking company, who had only two-and-a-half days to shoot and edit the video before it was screened on the last night of the festival as the closing video.
