Emerson Hart, the lead singer and songwriter of the great alternative rock band Tonic (check their first 3 studio albums if you still haven't), released his second solo full-length "Beauty In Disrepair" on April 15 via BMG Masters.
The new record, produced by David Hodges (Evanescence, Kelly Clarkson, Christina Perri, Daughtry, Carrie Underwood) is another amazing collection of well-crafted, emotional pop/pop-rock songs with some folk traces here and there. Hart has mentioned in interviews that his songs reflect something he's lived through, and while his solo debut "Cigarettes And Gasoline" dealt more with rocky relationships and personal struggles, "Beauty In Disrepair" reflects Hart's picking up the pieces and moving on, learning, and happiness re-evolving.
The first single off the new album is "The Best That I Can Give": watch the video now clicking on the image above.
