Fresh. Amazing. Scathing. These are the three adjectives that come to mind immediately after finishing listening to the debut album of this American band that comes from Florida; there has been a great buzz about them before the release of "Truth Or Dare", thanks to Juliet Simms and her voice. To be honest, I have to admit that I was not tearing my hair waiting to hear these tracks but I can reassure those who were anxious for the release that the waiting is worth the while. Actually, this product should have seen the light in 2007 but, when Epic stopped supporting the band leaving the guys without future, the schedule changed so that Automatic Loveletter altered their course resolutely deciding to produce an EP, "Revolve", which let them reach a new recording agreement last year thanks to Sony.
Josh Abraham (Weezer, 30 Second To Mars, Velvet Revolver) took care of them and the production, so here we are facing twelve dazzling songs that will get to easily win your heart. Simms' histrionic voice leads the way instilling her most intimate feelings with never a dull and monotonous singing, but always heartfelt and full of pathos. To draw up a list of worthy songs is arduous and difficult to ibe realized because they go beyond the simple personal taste of each, there is not any moment of weakness and distractions: ballads, mid tempos, catchy and radio friendly tracks as the opener "Heart Song"... well everyone will be happy with these tracklist. Ladies and gentlemen, let's jot this name down...we will heard a lot in the future! May the new begins...
