If you did not enjoyed their debut in 2007, do not be afraid: come closer to this new "Redemption" and rejoice at being faced to a very good record of healthy and honest modern rock!
Okay, the purists of the genre might argue that there is nothing new here, it's true. You are right. But what the Swedish quartet offers to us is fresh, electrifying, exciting. Recorded mostly in the USA under the aegis of Rick Beato (Shinedown, Submersed) and partly (three songs) in native Sweden with Tobias Lindell (Europe, Mustasch), we find 11 tracks that run away fast and make you want to play again the disc from the beginning as soon as "3 Drops" ends.
One of the strongest point of the quartet is Jocke Astrom's voice, never monotonous and always ready to find the melody that can quickly be imprinted, a sound that has a point of reference bands like Shinedown and Three Days Grace.
Try listening to the opening "# 1", so aggressive that it seems like a straight punch in the stomach but, at the same time, with a melody that you will sing in the shower and that will "bounce" in your head for quite a while, without counting the "classical" touch of the piano in the semi-ballad "Redemption," a real surprise!
