Livingston - Human

Livingston, the Berlin-based English band with South African origins, released one of the best rock album of 2012 with their sophomore release "Fire To Fire", produced by Grammy winner David Bottrill.

For their third, upcoming new studio record "Animal", Livingston decided to do the whole creation process themselves in a little cottage in the woods just outside Berlin. The first taste of this new approach is new single "Human", for which the band has just released an official music video. Check it now clicking on the image on the left.

London-based Australian indie rock band Howling Bells will release its fourth full-length studio album "Heartstrings" on June 2.

The new record was produced and mixed by Catherine J Marks (White Lies, Interpol, The Killers) with Alan Moulder (The Killers, Placebo, Yeah Yeah Yeahs). The recordings took place at London's Assault and Battery Studios, marking the first time Howling Bells recorded an album in their adopted hometown. 

"Heartstrings" leading single is titled "Slowburn" and will be officialy released on April 7: the band will celebrate this release with a live show at London's Oslo on the same day.

KXM - Rescue Me

This is another new band, but the members can be hardly considered newbies: KXM are Korn drummer Ray Luzier, bassist/vocalist DUg Pinnick from King's X and guitar virtuoso George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob).

KXM released their self-titled debut album -produced by Chris Collier- last week via Rat Pak Records. We're talking of a strong release, with a powerful, groovy sound and soulful vocals.

The Intersphere - Relations In The Unseen

Something cool from Germany this time. The Intersphere are a rock band from Mannheim whose sound combines elements of art rock, alternative and post rock to create original yet highly enjoyable songs.

"Relations In The Unseen" is the title of The Intersphere's new, fourth full-length album, released a few days ago via Long Branch Records/SPV and featuring lead single "Panic Waves" (get it here in a nice live acoustic version). Watch a great live performance of the title-track (and album opener) following this link.

American alternative rock band Born Cages has a new video out: it's for the song "Don't Look Back", the new amazing single off the New Yorkers last EP "The Sidelines", produced by Jon Kaplan (Walk The Moon, Augustana, Parachute, Tom Odell) and Oliver Strauss (Arctic Monkeys, Matt & Kim) at Mission Sound in Brooklyn and released last Summer via Razor & Tie Records.

Arkhaven - No Darker Days

Arkhaven is a five piece alternative rock band from Maryland influenced by the likes of Foo Fighters, Rush, Green Day, Crack The Sky, Tenacious D, Incubus, Metallica and The Beatles.

"We are performing wherever rock fans need us most. Our genre has been described as rock progressions, punk emotions, with metal expressions, and progressive rock lyrics. We make songs that go in your ear holes, and you're gonna love it" is the band's manifesto.

Arkhaven will soon release their debut EP "Æther", anticipated by the strong single "No Darker Days", that you can stream and download on a "name your price" basis on the group's bandcamp page.

Evacuate The Fallen are an interesting 5 piece female-fronted band from Melbourne, Australia, playing poprock with hardcore and electronic influences.

They recorded the debut EP "Things Might Seem Real", released in 2012. Now is the time of the follow-up "The Coast, The Sea", produced by Dave Petrovic and Shane Edwards at Sydney's Electric Sun Studios, digitally released on March 2nd, while the physical copies will be avaliable on the 22nd.
