Birmingham, AL rock band Lynam will release its new EP entitled "Halfway To Hell" October 15 via New Ocean Media.
The band has made the song "Wrong Side Of The Grave" available for streaming via SoundCloud and a free download via their ReverbNation page.
"Halfway To Hell" was produced by the band and longtime producer Jason Elgin (Collective Soul, Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster, Terrible Things). The song "Wrong Side Of The Grave" was produced and co-written with Bruno Agra.
The new EP comes 3 years after the live album "Thank You Goodnight!" hit the shelves. Following the release of that record, frontman Jacob Bunton joined up with former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler to form the band Adler and bassist Mark Dzier left to film the movie "Rock Of Ages" as part of the fictitious band Arsenal led by Tom Cruise.
"Mildred (Lost A Friend)" is the second single off "Old Souls", the third full-length album for English alternative rockers Deaf Havana, to be released September 16 on BMG Chrysalis.
The single, written by Matthew Veck-Gilodi and produced by his brother James with YOUTH (The Verve, Primal Scream, Crowded House), is the first song where Matt and James share vocal duties.
""Mildred" is essentially about growing up so closely with someone, imagining that your life will run parallel to theirs and then seeing said person growing up too young, getting a job and assuming responsibilities beyond their years" said Matt.

Something different for youChameleoners: Aurah is a duo from Switzerland featuring multi-instrumentalist Judith Martin and Billboard chart-topping producer Marc Dold. They have both shared significant success individually and as a group. Mark had two #1 Billboard hits producing a remix of Enya's "Only Time" and Celine Dion's "A New Day Has Come" and worked with music front runners such as Paul Van Dyk, Nelly Furtado and Basement Jaxx, to name a few. As Aurah, Judith and Marc composed the original film score for independent movies "Loving Annabelle" and "Sunset Junction." Their repertoire expanded showcasing tracks included in the blockbusters "Blood Diamond" and the Academy Award winner, "Little Miss Sunshine," among countless other films and hit television shows.
Their new project is "Summon The Sky", a 6-track EP of organica ambient music (including an amazing dreamy rendition of Bob Marley's "3 Little Birds") released at the end of last July. "With "Summon The Sky" we aim to take our listeners on a sonic ride exploring contrasts. Whether nature versus city life, falling in and out of love or just taking time out and staring at the sky, we hope the music will be a soundtrack to our listeners’ own imagination," the duo said.

Ex-The Academy Is... frontman William Beckett has just released his first full-length album "Genuine & Counterfeit", on Equal Vision Records. The album was recorded in his hometown of Chicago, IL with producer Marc McClusky (Weezer, Ludo, Everclear).
"This new record is nothing less than my greatest musical accomplishment," told Beckett. "And after writing and releasing the three EPs last year, working with Marc McClusky was a no brainer. While we share the same vision for the album, we are also constantly pushing and challenging each other to lift it to next level."
