Zebra & Giraffe - It's All The Same

Another great South African alternative rock band has just released excellent new music: this time is the turn of Johannesburg's Zebra & Giraffe.

Slow Motion is the title of their 5-track new EP, recorded at Panoramic House in Stinson Beach, California and produced, mixed and engineered by Cian Riordan (Wavves, 5 Seconds Of Summer, The Madden Brothers).

"We're super excited to share the new EP with you" wrote the band. "It's something a little different for us - recorded in a new country with a new producer and experimentation with some new sounds!"

Amazing South African alternative rockers Zebra & Giraffe released a couple of days ago the official music video for "I've Been Bad". Watch it now clicking on the frame on the left.

"I've Been Bad" is the first single off "Knuckles", the band's upcoming new EP (out next September 14), and was produced by Darryl Torr & Shy and mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Shakira).

South African alternative rockers Zebra & Giraffe have just unveiled the official music video for "Sons", third single off their latest studio album "The Wisest Ones", released last Summer.

The video was shot on location in Nigel (South Africa) on an abandoned mine dump and was directed by guitar player Alan Shenton and frontman Greg Carlin. Watch it now clicking on the image on the left.

South African alternative rockers Zebra & Giraffe have a video out for the second single off their latest studio album "The Wisest Ones".

The single is "My Best" and the video was filmed by Brendan Barnes at M2 at RBF Studios, Auckland Park, Johannesburg.

The video may not be that original, but the song attests the growth and the deepening of the band's sound. So check "My Best" out, clicking on the frame on the left.

Zebra & Giraffe are one of the most interesting and most loved alternative rock bands from South Africa. Their new full-length studio album, the third one, will be released on July, 23.

The new record is titled "The Wisest Ones" and was mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Chris Isaak, Walk The Moon and many more).

This is what frontman and lyricist Greg Carlin says about the new work: "With "The Wisest Ones" we really just wrote songs that felt right. Whether they had a catchy chorus, or a chorus at all didn't really matter. That's not to say there isn't a lot of catchy stuff on this album; there is. We just haven't been afraid to experiment with our sound and push ourselves with this album. It still sounds like us; like Zebra & Giraffe; but it's definitely darker, noisier, and lyrically, a lot more honest."
