Overloaded hearts for THE COMPROMISE martedì, 9 gennaio 2018 21:15 by madseason
The Compromise - Overload

I'd like to start the featured artists' 2018 with a band from Turin, Italy. The Compromise were born in 2013 and released their first EP Motionless in December 2014.

The band shared the stage with famed international acts Bury Tomorrow, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, The Ataris" and Slimboy and played in renowned festivals like Sziget Festival and Emergenza Festival.

The Compromise have a new single out: titled Overload, it was mixed and mastered at Fusix Studio in Turin and released last December 15. It's a strong song that should appeal to fans of 3 Doors Down, heavier The Calling and other cool alternative rock bands that were great in the first years of the new millennium.

To The River with CAUSES sabato, 24 dicembre 2016 18:30 by madseason
Causes - To The River

Causes are a 4 piece indie pop band composed of British singer/songwriter Rupert Blackman, guitar player Jan Schröder, drummer Simon Boeing-Messing and bass player Robert Pronk.

Blackman moved to Amsterdam from the UK and started busking on the street. He regularly sold out of homemade CD's and interest quickly garnered. He signed a record deal in Benelux with Play It Again Sam. Soon after he met Schröder and Causes was swiftly formed.

After the band's first two singles Teach Me How To Dance With You and Walk On Water gained a great success, Causes signed a deal with RCA Records. Their first full-length album Under Bridges That You Built For Me was produced by Ian Grimble (Travis, Manic Street Preachers, Texas) and released last Spring. It features the aforementioned singles and the latest ones, To The River (watch the video clicking on the image) and This Sinking Ship.

On December 2 Causes released the Under Bridges Acoustic EP, a mini-album that includes four songs from the debut LP, re-recorded without electric instruments.

If you like perfectly crafted, subtle, atmospheric indie pop that works great on radios without selling out, and artists like Tom Odell, OneRepublic, Keane or Coldplay, then stream Causes' music on Spotify.
