Tesseract - Messenger

TesseracT is a British band from Milton Keynes, England, formed in 2007. They released yesterday their album number 3, Polaris, on their new label Kscope.

Not an easy band to pigeonhole, TesseracT have been labelled Progressive Rock, Progressive Metal, Post Rock, Ambient Rock through the years... maybe they're all of that and even more.
What's sure is that TesseracT is an extrermely talented act; if you don't know them, try the first two singles off Polaris, just to start: Messenger (here you can find the lyrical video) and Survival (click on the image to watch the recently released official video).

And if it's not enough, stream the whole Polaris album following this this link.

Muse new song "Survival" has been selected by the London Olympic committee to be the main official song for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Frontman Matt Bellamy wrote the song with the Olympics in mind. It's about total conviction and pure determination to win. The song will be played throughout the Games including when athletes enter the stadium, in the lead up to the medal ceremony and also as the theme for all international TV coverage.

"Survival" had a worldwide radio exclusive a few hours ago on BBC Radio 1. Click here to listen to it now.
