Never Say Die

Never Say Die is a Canadian alternative hard-rock band from Toronto, Ontario, featuring Reid Henry and Brendan McMillan of My Darkest Days.

"Never Say Die started in the front passenger seat of the My Darkest Days BandWagon... we had a relentless tour schedule," recalls Reid. "During over night drives I'd squeeze through a small window to the front of the bus and stay up writing, singing, and occasionally wedging my laptop on the dashboard to record."

Over the next year, Never Say Die remained a studio project of Reid (on lead vocals/guitar) and Brendan (on bass). In early 2016, Reid's demos caught the interest of producer/engineer (Evans Blue, Parabelle, Scarlet White) and drummer (Age Of Days), Mike Langford. The band began recording an EP that evolved into an album. With the addition of Mike's long time tour mate, Dane Hartsell (guitar/vocals), what started as a dream has quickly become a reality.

Never Say Die's debut album is titled Destroy + Rebuild and was independently released last January 20; if you like My Darkest Days and the artists that influenced this band (Deftones, Filter, Stabbing Westward), you will much likely love this record. Smashing Satellites - Hounds

Salvatore Costa, former guitar player/vocalist of Canadian active rockers My Darkest Days, has just launched a new project called Smashing Satellites

The debut single "Hounds" along with the music video (which you can see clicking on the image on the left) was released last week: "Welcome to my dreams, my nightmares, the highest and lowest points of my life. This is Chapter 1 of my diary in musical form. Love it or hate it - this is me" said Salvo about it.

Smashing Satellites' debut EP "SonicAluzion (A-Side)" will be independently released next September 30 and, judging from the groovy Arctic Monkeys-like single, it will be an EP to look after.

Sick And Twisted Affairs for MY DARKEST DAYS giovedì, 10 maggio 2012 22:28 by madseason
My Darkest Days

Single and video number two from canuck rockers My Darkest Days' new album "Sick And Twisted Affair", released last March for Chad Kroeger's 604 Records.

This time is the title-track of the record to receive a single treatment. Watch the video for "Sick And Twisted Affair" right now clicking on the image.   The track is really entertaining, but the video isn't as hot as the "Casual Sex" one for sure, and looks a little cheaper too. Let's hope in another "uncut" version.

More info about the band, including upcoming tour dates, at their facebook page.
