Northern National are a Dallas, TX, alternative rock band that formed in August 2016 and released their debut EP, The New Age, later that year.

Northern National are releasing today the video for their brand new single MoneyBlind, one of my favourite songs of the season.

Produced by Dan Stringer (X Ambassadors, Johnny Stimson, Lauryn Hill), who also worked with the Texans on their EP, and mastered by John Davis (Lana Del Ray, U2, Royal Bloods), MoneyBlind fuses southern, indie, & alternative rock in an energetic and driving song.

Lyricwise, MoneyBlind tells the story of the pursuit of success, getting caught up in the chase, forgetting about the most important things in life, and finding yourself alone in your accomplishments. "To us, it's a warning and reminder that however much success we achieve - to not sacrifice the people, morals, and loved ones that matter in your life to achieve that success," the band explains. "The road might be slower, but it'll be worth it in the end. Don't be 'MoneyBlind'.
