I already talked about these 4 danish guys in the 1.0 version of the site. They're stars in their home country, where they reached multi-platinum status. Kashmir, that named their band after the Led Zeppelin song, play melancholic pop in Coldplay, Keane, Travis and Saybia style mixed with a sort of electro-poprock similar to the one of their country fellows Carpark North, just less thunderous.
After 6 studio album, 5 EPs, a live album and many singles, it's time for the danish to release a 2-cd career spanning collection that features 32 songs, including bonus tracks of previous records, studio versions of only-live tracks (so far) and two brand new numbers called "Electrified Love" and "Evermore", the first being the official single off this compilation (preview it here).
"Katalogue 1991-2011" is already out for Columbia/Sony, so go get it now: it's a nice way to get introduced to this brilliant band.
