My loyal readers already know Ryan Hamilton, ex-singer and guitarist of indie pop rockers Smile Smile, as he's half of the duo behind the power-pop act People On Vacation (the other being Jaret Reddick of Bowling For Soup).

Ryan Hamilton's first solo album, Hell Of A Day, is coming out on August 25; the recordings of the record were backud-up by a succesfull PledgeMusic campaign and Ryan is taking extra good care of the folks who enjoy and support his art and music: "I want to break down the ridiculous wall that record labels, managers and all the "higher ups" feel is necessary in the music business." says, adding "I don't want to hear things like, "there's no point in preaching to the converted".  Let's build and grow TOGETHER.
