An indie pop-rock/synth-rock band to keep an eye on: Strange Fiction are the new project of Nathan Medina, formerly of The Canvas Waiting.

Medina began writing songs that would become Strange Fiction close to two years ago. "As the rock band I was touring with came to an end, I started writing songs that were going in a new direction. I have always been a fan of 80's music and loved the textures and layers of the synths in that era. I picked up a Juno-60 and that keyboard has really shaped the core of these new songs." states Medina.
