Icon For Hire

Icon For Hire's self-titled sophomore album will be released next Tuesday, October 15th, via Tooth & Nail Records.

The band's debut album, "Scripted", marked a milestone in Tooth & Nail history as their highest charting debut album. The album debuted on the Billboard 200 Album chart, peaked at #4 on the iTunes Rock chart, and charted at #19 overall. Their videos for "Make A Move" and "Get Well" have received over 6 million views on YouTube.

Here's what Ariel & Co. said about the new record: "After 18 months of touring and lots of journaling, we went away to write our most vulnerable music yet. We are not a one dimensional band so we didn't write a one dimensional record."

"It's a label that has a history of consistently putting out good music and really working side by side with their artists. Because we've been doing this thing on our own for over two years, it feels great to partner with Tooth & Nail."

Icon For Hire worked in the studios with famed producer Aaron Sprinkle (Anberlin, Mae, Eisley, Jeremy Camp, Falling Up, Kutless) to formulate their sound of combining heavy, rock-oriented sounds and modern pop elements with a strong focus on the production.

The album, titled "Scripted", is set to be released on August, 23. Meanwhile, you can check out they're new single "Make A Move" on their myspace page.
