Antigone Rising is an all-female New York City based alt-country rock band. Their music is influenced by classic rock from the 1970s such as The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac, mixed with pop overtones and folk, country and southern rock elements.
The band has a new EP out now: it's the second volume of "Whiskey & Wine", released a couple of weeks ago, while the first volume was released last year.
