Colibrium's debut album In Balance, a collaboration between Reid Jones of Deep Blue Studios and the unmistakable Forrester Savell (ARIA nominated and internationally renowned producer and mixer currently based in Australia), was released last March 11.

Drawing influence from a broad spectrum of musical influences, including Led Zeppelin, Radiohead and Tool, to that of Australian rock heavyweights Karnivool and Dead Letter Circus, this rock-solid, professional soundscape has something for every listener, and every mood.

The Adelaide (AU) based five-piece's not spinning the wheels here. Though their single is titled Spinning On The Wheel, they are firing on all cylinders with the release of In Balance. A promising band from Christchurch, New Zealand: I'm talking of Setting Fire To Stacey, a hard hitting modern rock combo that released its debut EP Love & War last December 1.

Produced by Paul Matthews Music Productions (I Am Giant, Tadpole, Stylus, Six60) and mastered by Forrester Savell (I Am Giant, Dead Letter Circus, Karnivool), the five songs included in the EP are the result of 18 months of hard work writing, recording and playing shows around the country.

This is a band that you have absolutely to know if you like Alternative Rock in the modern Progressive way of The Mars Volta, Rishloo, Karnivool and similar eclectic and unpredictable outfits.

Dead Letter Circus have a brand new album out, their third full-length: it's titled Aesthesis and was released last August 14 on UNFD - The End Records. Produced by Forrester Savell and Matthew Bartlem, Aesthesis was mixed by no less than Chris Lord-Alge (Manic Street Preachers, Nickelback, Muse and many, many more high-profile acts).
