If you want some energetic garage rock with shining melodies, than look no further than The Young Evils. The Seattle independent band led by songwriter Troy Nelson and singer Mackenzie Mercer, recorded their new EP "False Starts" at the legendary Sound City Studios in Los Angeles and The Kill Room in Seattle and released it last November 18.
The Young Evils have a new video out for the EP's lead single "Renegades", a song that features no less than Phil Collen (Def Leppard) on additional guitar. The video was directed by Mackenzie's father, Lance Mercer, the man who shot Pearl Jam's first album cover and toured with the band from 1992 to 1995 as their official photographer.
