ARROWS TO ATHENS are back from Exile Friday, 8 April 2016 22:35 by madseason
Arrows To Athens - Exile

I wasn't expecting a new release from Arrows To Athens at all: to be honest, I thought that their album Kings & Thieves from 2011 was a one-off. So the news that the band was about to unleash new material caught me by surprise.

As a matter of facts, the 6-track EP Exile dropped today and is an amazing little collection of modern melodic pop-rock songs in the best Goo Goo Dolls style, beautifully written and performed.

For those who don't know, the force behind Arrows To Athens is the successful songwriter, producer, keyboardist and vocalist from Little Rock, Arkansas, David Hodges, a man who has sold over 60 million albums with his bands and collaborations. He is well known for having been a member and songwriter of the band Evanescence on their first and highly successful album Fallen (17 million records sold worldwide); he has also been part of the bands Trading Yesterday, The Age Of Information and Avox and collaborated with the likes of Keith Urban, Gavin DeGraw, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne, Tim McGraw, Daughtry, Phillip Phillips, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Tonight Alive, Steven Tyler and many more.

What can I add? Just stream the whole Ep Exile now on SoundCloud or Spotify and enjoy!
