BLUE OCTOBER: Update domenica, 19 maggio 2013 22:54 by madseason
blue october pledgemusic campaign

An important update on the Blue October front: the release date of the new studio album is planned for August 20. Songs expected to be on the new record are "Angels In Everything", "Bleed Out", "Debris", "Fear", "Hard Candy", "Light You Up", "Not Broken Anymore", "Put It In", "Snow Globe", "Still Broken", "Sway", "Things We Do At Night" and "Things We Don't Know". The song "Still Broken" was originally released as a The Last Wish song on their 1995 album "The First Of February". Another song, "Sorry Hearts", will be released as an iTunes exclusive bonus track.

As you may know, the new album is funded by an extremely successful PledgeMusic campaign: it took only four days to reach the 100% of the goal!

In other important news, guitar player C.B. Hudson had officially rejoined the band. C.B. left Blue October in December 2010 to build a recording studio in Austin. At the moment is not sure if he will play the European shows next November. It may be possible that Julian Mandrake or Steve Schiltz will accompany the Texan band on these gigs. Stay tuned. (Thanks to Joelle for the infos!)

BLUE OCTOBER PledgeMusic campaign mercoledì, 3 aprile 2013 00:50 by madseason
blue october pledgemusic campaign

weChameleon's favourites Blue October have launched a PledgeMusic campaign to help fund their new album:

"As many of you may know, we have already begun work on our new album. You may also know that a couple years ago we left the "major label system" in the music industry and are now a fully independent band, working for ourselves and investing in ourselves.

That investment takes a good deal of time, effort and teamwork to make the album we want to make for you and release it globally. That’s why we’ve partnered with PledgeMusic to allow us all to work together in making and promoting our new album."

Read more about this campaign at the project's page clicking on the image above. And don't forget to make your pledge!

blue october

Yeah, never worry about Blue October, 'cause they always deliver!

Today is the time of the brand new video for the song "The Worry List", one of the many pearls of the last incredible album by the Texan band, "Any Man In America".   Lyricwise, the song is a message to vocalist Justin's ex-wife, telling her to stop worrying about him, because he doesn't want her shit anymore, he's fine, he's got plenty of friends around and, most of all, has found God in his daughter Blue and this gives him a strength he never knew he was able to ever feel.

So, enjoy the video now clicking on the image on the left.
