Bad Wolf - Breathing Underwater

Alt-rock duo Bad Wolf is releasing the official video for their new single Breathing Underwater today, Friday, September 27.

With vulnerable lyrics and catchy vocals that glide over moody guitars and powerful, driving drums, Breathing Underwater explores the internal conflicts a queer person faces when making their way in the world.

The cinematic video ties together themes of the ocean and mermaids combined with an LGBT storyline.

Based in Los Angeles, Bad Wolf has been creating their own unique version of alt-pop by forging together sci-fi and fantasy with a touch of Goth rock.  With sounds similar to Evanescence, Paramore, and Birthday Massacre, Bad Wolf has the competitive advantage of having different influences and musical backgrounds along with the skills of self-production. The duo, consisting of Kota Wade and Tommy Oleksyn, has diverse accolades, which range from performing with Echosmith and We Came As Romans, having over a million views on YouTube, to performing annually at the Labyrinth Of Jareth Masquerade Ball, one of North America's largest fantasy events.

Stay With Me: BAD WOLF's new music video lunedì, 27 gennaio 2014 21:03 by madseason
Bad Wolf - Stay With Me

A couple of months ago I introduced to our readers an amazing new act from Los Angeles, Bad Wolf: the band "generated their own world with the fusion of steampunk and faerie-rock that brings fantasy-inspired edginess to the alternative rock genre."

Now Bad Wolf has returned with a charming new music video for "Stay With Me", the follow up single to 2013's "Drowning Beautiful" release, which has garnered nearly 102K views on YouTube.

The latest single tells the story of desperately trying to save a broken love, and features Bad Wolf's signature sound of haunting vocals, heavy guitars and a hypnotic drumbeat. "Stay With Me" also marks the first single containing backing vocals from Bad Wolf's Tommy and Alicia.

The faerie-inspired rockers have once again teamed up with director, Raiya Corsiglia (Cannes Lion Nominee, eight-time Telly Award Winner) to have their fantasy storybook themes come to life: the state-of-the-art music video pays homage to several different fairytales, including Little Red Riding Hood, Beauty & The Beast, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. The filming of the video took the band to the Angeles National Forest, where they got up close and personal with the wolves on set.

Bad Wolf - Drowning Beautiful

An amazing new act to look for: the Los Angeles band Bad Wolf -consisting of Kota Wade (lead vocals and keys), Tommy O. (guitars), Tim Falco (drums), and Alicia Vigil (bass)- have generated their own world with the fusion of steampunk and faerie-rock that brings fantasy-inspired edginess to the alternative rock genre.

Bad Wolf released their first EP "Once Upon…" featuring the lead single, "A Better World (ft. Traci Hines)", along with their first music video in late 2012. The second single, the brilliant song "Drowning Beautiful", is accompanied by an imaginative and whimsical music video by award-winning director Raiya Corsiglia: "Raiya took the message of choosing your own destiny, and gave it a story using visual symbolism. The video explores three different worlds, and encourages the listener to choose the world they want to live in" said lead singer Kota.
