Art Of Dying - Rise Up

Following last April's release of the Rise Up EP, here comes Canadian heavy/active rockers Art Of Dying new 13 song full-length album of the same name, released yesterday, December 11, on Better Noise Records.
As the EP, the album was produced by David Bendeth (Breaking Benjamin, Paramore, Papa Roach, Bring Me The Horizon) and includes all the five tracks of the mini-album.

Vocalist Jonny Hetherington had to say about the new release that "this was not an easy record to make... My father's cancer came back during the recording which he succumbed to months later and my partner in crime, founding member Greg Bradley left the band mid recording. To say I was dealing with issues close to the heart while making this record is a huge understatement. The silver lining for me is that all of the emotion and frustration came out in a beautiful musical release that the four of us channeled and put to tape. Producer David Bendeth challenged us musically like never before and we could not be more proud that through the strength of our brotherhood we indeed were able to Rise Up."

ART OF DYING: new life for Get Thru This mercoledì, 21 settembre 2011 23:12 by madseason

Canadian rockers Art Of Dying released their second album, the first for Intoxication/Reprise Records, last March.

Titled "Vices And Virtues" and produced by knobs-superstar Howard Benson and by Disturbed guitar player Dan Donegan, the record features a new version of the most known song from the canadians' debut, "Get Thru This". This song became the official theme song to WWE's 23rd annual Survivor Series pay-per-view in 2009. It was also used frequently during the April 27th, 2010 edition of WWE NXT. This track is also included in the soundtrack for this year's Transformers: Dark Of The Moon movie.
