Take BLUE OCTOBER off your Worry List martedì, 24 aprile 2012 22:51 by madseason
blue october

Yeah, never worry about Blue October, 'cause they always deliver!

Today is the time of the brand new video for the song "The Worry List", one of the many pearls of the last incredible album by the Texan band, "Any Man In America".   Lyricwise, the song is a message to vocalist Justin's ex-wife, telling her to stop worrying about him, because he doesn't want her shit anymore, he's fine, he's got plenty of friends around and, most of all, has found God in his daughter Blue and this gives him a strength he never knew he was able to ever feel.

So, enjoy the video now clicking on the image on the left.

BLUE OCTOBER's singer UK tour mercoledì, 7 dicembre 2011 22:52 by madseason
Justin Furstenfeld

I've just read on 78Triple6 that Justin Furstenfeld, frontman of the mighty Blue October, will be touring the UK for an acoustic tour in March of 2012. So far only three dates have been announced but I understand that more dates would be announced soon.

This is great news, and come just a few days after the one attesting that BBC's Radio 2 Playlist has added Blue October's "The Feel Again (Stay)" to its A List, with the likes of Adele, Amy Winehouse, Beyoncé and Katy Perry!

And the music video for "The Feel Again (Stay)" is Top 10 on the UK's most popular rock and metal station Scuzz TV!

It seems that things are starting to going great for Justin & Co. in UK. Well deserved!

BLUE OCTOBER: some great interviews venerdì, 15 luglio 2011 21:30 by madseason
justin

I want to signal a couple of very good interviews to Justin Furstenfeld, frontman of Blue October. The first (and the best) is on 102.1 The Edgethe second is on ultimateGuitar.com and the third is on 97X online.

So, if you wanna know everything about the new album "Any Man In America" (out next month), Justin's custody battles, bipolar disorder, guitars and guitar players, you know what to do.

A little extract from one of the interviews: "I've been on the rock scene for quite a while and I love the rock scene but I just don't like all the rock bands. I love Nickelback but you've got to write a new song, bro; I've heard the same one 50 times. If you wanna be a rich band and that's what you want out of life that's cool; I'm in it for the art. I don't need to be rich; I just need to put diapers on my baby and make sure my girlfriend's cool and I'm straight."

Stay with BLUE OCTOBER venerdì, 10 giugno 2011 17:58 by madseason

Busy months on the Blue October's camp: the acoustic tour, the acoustic album, "The Chills" -the first single from the upcoming new studio album- and now this clip!

The video you can watch on the left is for the new song "The Feel Again (Stay)" and has been directed by Austin filmmaker Merritt Fields. It's very simple, but, thanks to vocalist Justin's lyrics and interpretation, very haunting and evocative.

This is a stunning, emotional track that sends shivers down my spine. Chapeau!

"The Feel Again (Stay)" will appear on Blue October's new album "Any Man In America", out on August 16 on Up/Down Records.

BLUE OCTOBER: Any Man In America update venerdì, 27 maggio 2011 00:37 by madseason
blue october any man in america

Blue October announce the release of their sixth full-length studio album, "Any Man In America", on August 16, 2011.

The album will be thirteen new songs that tell a cathartic tale of heartbreak and healing through unbridled lyrical honesty, anthemic modern rock hooks, and melodic soundscapes.

The first single off of the album, "The Chills", will be available for digital download on May 31st.

Those of you that have heard "The Chills" on the radio or caught live performances of "Feel Again" and "The Follow Through" on the Acoustic Tour know that this is going to be another amazing album from the band.

Blue October will support the album with a national tour kicking off on August 17th 2011.

For the list of the dates, tune to Blue October's website.
