Rock band Wild Giants dropped their new single "Why Aren't We Freaking Out?" a thought-provoking anthem that makes listeners stop and think about the acknowledgment of aliens. The combination of Walashek on vocals and guitar, Lyman Lipke on bass, Todd Flaming on guitar, and Corey Batorski on drums, meshes perfectly. "The revelation was seemingly swept under the rug by the general public, but I couldn't keep my mind off of it… I kept asking myself, 'why aren't we freaking out,'" he explained, "I channeled my inner Tom Delonge for this track in hopes of bringing the spotlight back on the subject."

Hard rock band High Street has released their newest single, Bad Blood. The heavy guitar-driven track fuses elements of 80s and 90s hard rock with a modern twist, giving the song its unique edge.

As with all of their music, Bad Blood delivers a compelling message. This song is about exiting a rocky relationship on a healthy note in spite of the heated emotions that may have surfaced. The single is another superb offering alongside their West Coast Revival Tour.

"Disappointment, acceptance, understanding, and resolution with the situation reflected in the lyrics," High Street explains. While the success from doing covers has been gratifying, the band learned that the more you cover and dissect pop and rock classics, the more you understand what about them works. Despite their young ages -vocalist Audra Miller is only 19, drummer Sam Gilman and guitarist Matt Yost are both 20- the trio possess a profound instinct for the intricacies of song construction.

The band began writing their own original music and brought in John and Stephen Gomez (of TWIN XL) to produce the new album and help bring those songs to life. Their debut landed on many prominent "Most Anticipated" lists prior to its release.

Singer-songwriter, Jane Honor, has just released her newest single, Sunset To London. The song is a moving, introspective journey through Honor's mind as she reflects on an emotional escape.

Raised in New York City, Jane Honor began singing at the early age of eight years old. Alternative Rock duo Migrant Motel combines modern rock sounds with contemporary production techniques into a blend that is unique yet familiar. On making this big leap career-wise with the featured performance at Lollapalooza, the band's Chava Ilizaliturri says "Getting asked to play Lolla this year is absolutely insane! It'll be our first time at a big festival and to be given the opportunity to close the BMI stage on the first day - let alone play at all, is an incredible honor. It feels like we've been building the history of Migrant Motel for a while and now is the first time it's mixing in with the history of Rock N' Roll. In speaking about the inspiration for new track Sweat, MM's David Stewart, Jr. explains "This song is honestly just about feeling bad ass; everything from the groove, the lyrics, the production - it's all focused on making the listener feel like they're on top of the world. We wanted to give a feeling of being "untouchable": Having complete dominion over a situation, leading us to cheekily say 'C'mon, AT LEAST make me sweat while I beat you!'"

Paris based band Halflives have released today their new EP V.

V is Linda Battilani's Vision; a story of obsession, hurt, revenge and feeling left out, told through unfiltered lyrics, dark atmospheres tinted with macabre imagery. The title V hints on a story told through five tracks (V in roman numbers), all of which start with the V letter. Strongly inspired by TV and film and adapted into real life experiences, V paints the inner fight between letting go and being a slave to one's feelings.

Immensely passionate and slightly irrational on Victim, Villain and V (Psycho), V confesses a toxic obsession for someone or something, who doesn't love you back after all, and merely takes everything good from you, leaving you as an empty shell.

Lashing out and letting go on Vibe and Valkyrie, oppression gives way to a new-found confidence and self-esteem during moments of clarity, realising you're actually worth something regardless of everyone else's opinion of you. These tracks explore the process of learning to fit in, and perhaps finding out that you don't, but being okay with it. It's an anthem for the weirdos, the rejects and the misfits.

"Victim is about the obsessive feeling that you develop towards someone or something that you can't have. Despite the fact that you know it's bad for you, you always find reasons to keep pushing to the point that it consumes you. Even if you're not given anything to feed on, every detail is an excuse to hang on and you find pleasure in a sort of morbid excitement.

The music video highlights how you can find yourself being used by someone and do nothing about it, and the blood represents the suffering that comes with it. The fact that I'm the only character throughout symbolises how I'm the only one who could do something about it… but I can't" says Linda.

Singer/songwriter Linda Battilani not only wrote all of the songs, but also assumed an integral role in the EP's production. Additional production, mixing and mastering were done by Elliot Polokoff (Cemetery Sun) on all tracks except Villain which was produced and mixed by Nick Goncalves (8 Graves).

On this record, Halflives return to an anthemic rock sound inspired by the modern revival of the genre, spiced up with trap elements that have increasingly been a part of the band's sound over the years. Unapologetic and outspoken, the record is designed to be a vessel for those who have something to say and can't find the words or the way to speak out.
