"A Hundred Sinners" is the new single off The Feeling's new album "Together We Were Made", released two months ago via Universal - Island Records.

ZIV Symphony Heart review giovedì, 25 agosto 2011 15:45 by madseason
ZIV is a piano alternative rock band from Los Angeles that takes the name from its leader, the Israeli-born Ziv. Completing the band we find Josh Taddeo on bass and Mark Hartman on drums.
ziv symphony heart

"Symphony Heart" is Ziv's third overall album.

In the 13 tracks that compose the record you can find traces of great piano-driven alternative bands like Coldplay, Jack's Mannequin, The Fray, but even californian Thriving Ivory, expecially for the voice of Ziv that sometimes reminds me of Clayton Stroope's one: deep, emotional, melancholic at times.

It's hard to find a favorite track in such a good album, very strong from start to finish. Maybe I could choose the Keanesque titletrack, or the soul-oriented "Lay Down", that sends shivers down my spine; maybe the moving "A Love Like This" or "Everything You Wanted", with its rich texture and its brilliant melody.

OK, I should name 'em all... what can I add? Great songs, very good sound, brilliant arrangements, excellent musicianship (by the way, Ziv played most of the guitars, bass and all of the keyboards: wow): there's everything. If you don't trust me, head over their website and get a glimpse of their art now!

Alpha Rev

As you may remember, I told you before about Alpha Rev's new EP and the PledgeMusic campaign to raise the money to record it. Now we have great news from the band:

"Thanks to you guys, the production of our EP has been funded. We cannot thank you enough, and we feel blessed to have so many wonderful supporters.

Now that we're funded, any extra money raised through pledges will help with the numerous expenses that come along with launching a record and radio campaign. There are only 22 days left in our campaign - if you haven't yet, please Pledge Today.  Also, a percentage of funds will continue to be donated to two amazing charities - "Mental Health America" and "Trade In Hope"."

In support of the new EP, to be released this Fall, the band will tour across the U.S.A. They've just announced more dates through October, into November. For a complete list of the dates, visit their facebook page now.

mario fucks

Mario is an active/passive bisexual transylvanian Benjamin Button.

His owner, weChameleon's dearest friend Andrew "omelette" McWater, told us that "Mario chooses his sexual partner in a completely random way. He's got no clue about what he's doing until he's doing it, and keeps no memories of his previous erotic experiences, bad or good they are".

The picture shows our hero enjoying the moment in a sort of bondage game with a brand new friend of his. "This time Mario's got lucky" says an amused Omelette "the partner is a female one".

May we add that she doesn't really seem that entertained? Come on, Mario, keep pushin'!

mario reads

But Mario is not just a sex addicted. He's also an acculturized guy, an avid reader of such novels as Edward Bunker's "Dog Eat Dog", Walter Mosley's "Walkin' The Dog" and Don Wislow's "The Power Of The Dog".

Sadly this passion for culture led him into a presbyopic status so, when it's time for a good reading, he must put his glasses on if he doesn't want to get whistles for flasks!
