Today sees the release of "The Garden EP", the new record from former lead singer of the mighty rock band Live, Ed Kowalczyk. "The Garden" includes 5 new songs and 5 remixes of those tracks, featuring Eva and the Heartmaker, Hawkman (not the DC Comics character), Karsh Kale, and more.

The EP is available digitally now through Harbour Records; a hard copy release is expected to be out sometime before Christmas. Preview the new songs now heading to Ed's website.

"The Garden EP" comes as a welcome appetizer for Mr. Kowalczyk second solo full-length studio album, slated for release in spring 2013.

South African alternative rockers Zebra & Giraffe have a video out for the second single off their latest studio album "The Wisest Ones".

The single is "My Best" and the video was filmed by Brendan Barnes at M2 at RBF Studios, Auckland Park, Johannesburg.

Makeshift Prodigy from Chicago, IL, made their major debut last week with their new EP "Illuminate", released by Atlantic records on November, 6.

The 6-track EP is streaming in full on the band's official SoundCloud page: "We are excited to share our new EP with you and hope that in it you will find all of the love and loneliness, happiness and sorrow, and hopeful excitement that went into its creation" said the guys in Makeshift Prodigy.

Swedish alternative hard-rockers Takida (named after the character Gohei Takeda in the Japanese anime series Nagareboshi Gin) will release their first greatest hits album "A Lesson Learned - The Best Of" next November, 28 via Universal Music Sweden.

The 2-cd collection comes after 4 full-length studio albums and features the new song "Swallow (Until You're Gone)", released as a single at the end of September.

"Go To Hell" is the second single off Floridian powerpoprockers Go Radio's sophomore full-length album "Close The Distance", released last September through Fearless Records.

The new record, produced by James Wisner (Dashboard Confessional, Further Seems Forever, The Academy Is), peaked at position #12 on Billboard Independent Albums chart and #13 on Billboard Alternative Albums chart.

Train have just released a new single and a new video off their latest studio album "California 37".

After the very succesfull singles "Drive By" and "50 Ways To Say Goodbye" (whose video features famed actor David Hasselhoff), it's now the time of "Bruises", a track which sees American country music singer-songwriter Ashley Monroe sharing vocals duties with Train's frontman Pat Monahan.

As you may know by now, Soundgarden are back with a studio album titled "King Animal": it's the sixth by the American rock band and will be released next week on Seven Four Entertainment/Republic Records.

"King Animal" was produced by Seattle area knob-twiddler Adam Kasper (Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Queens Of The Stone Age) and it's the band's first original album in 16 years, and the first not on A&M Records since 1988's "Ultramega OK".

As previously reportedLifehouse will release their sixth studio album "Almería" on December 11th .

The first single off the Jude Cole-produced new record is titled "Between The Raindrops" and features English singer Natasha Bedingfield in what's the band's first ever duet.
