San Diego rockers Angels & Airwaves have released their much anticipated music video for "Surrender", the lead single off their latest album "Love Part Two". Watch it now by clicking on the image.   "Surrender" was shot in Los Angeles at the old Herald Examiner Building, and at the La Mirage dry lakebed outside of Barstow. Set amongst opposing scenes of passionate youth rioting and dancing in the streets, the video, as lead singer Tom DeLonge explains it, "is based on young revolution.  The idea that young people are speaking their minds... and that young people across the Globe will still find a way to celebrate even when they're living their worst day."

Alex Band, the multi-platinum songwriter and former lead singer of The Calling, released last Tuesday his new EP called "After The Storm" through the new Killer Tracks Artist Series label.

"After The Storm" comes two years after Alex full-length solo debut album "We've All Been There" and includes the tracks "Take Me Back", "Shape Of Your Heart", "King Of Anything", "Get Up" and "Right Now".

Australian pop singer-songwriter (and actress) Missy Higgins is back with "The Ol' Razzle Dazzle", her third studio album, to be released by Eleven on July, 17th.

Missy took a break from the music industry in 2009 to pursue other interests, but then decided to come back to music and worked with fellow Australian singer/songwriter Butterfly Boucher, who helped co-produce "The Ol' Razzle Dazzle" with Nashville producer/engineer Brad Jones.

The first single off the album, "Unashamed Desire", was released in April with an accompanying video that you can watch clicking on the image on the left.

Matchbox Twenty has announced the release of "North", their much anticipated new album scheduled to hit the shelves on September 4th.

"North" marks Matchbox Twenty's fourth full-length studio recording and first all-new album in a decade.

"The title refers to us finding our way," says Paul Doucette "We went into this record with a lot of material. Many different songs that could have taken us in many different directions. It sort of overwhelmed us for a bit. But, at a certain point, we figured it out. We figured out where North was."

One of the best act around, Florence + The Machine, premiered its new video "Breath Of Life" yesterday.

The song is the first official single off the upcoming movie "Snow White And The Huntsman", based on the Brothers Grimm's "Snow White" fairy tale.

The movie is directed by Rupert Sanders and features Kristen Stewart as Snow White, Charlize Theron as Queen Ravenna, Chris Hemsworth as Eric, the Huntsman and Sam Claflin as Prince William.

Here's the new video for "Your'e A Lie", the first single off Slash's new album, "Apocalyptic Love", out next week through Roadrunner Records.

"Apocalyptic Love" was produced by knob-wizard Eric Valentine (Good Charlotte, Lostprophets, Taking Back Sunday, Third Eye Blind, The All-American Rejects) and features the great vocalist Myles Kennedy, who also wrote the lyrics for the album, Todd Kerns on bass, and drummer Brent Fitz.

Dutch 3 piece alternative rock band The New Shining is about to release a double album called "Stripped/Full Circle": the "Stripped" cd will consist in acoustic numbers, while the other cd will feature electric songs.
