Sick And Twisted Affairs for MY DARKEST DAYS giovedì, 10 maggio 2012 22:28 by madseason
My Darkest Days

Single and video number two from canuck rockers My Darkest Days' new album "Sick And Twisted Affair", released last March for Chad Kroeger's 604 Records.

This time is the title-track of the record to receive a single treatment. Watch the video for "Sick And Twisted Affair" right now clicking on the image.   The track is really entertaining, but the video isn't as hot as the "Casual Sex" one for sure, and looks a little cheaper too. Let's hope in another "uncut" version.

More info about the band, including upcoming tour dates, at their facebook page.

Rising stars: CERVELLO martedì, 8 maggio 2012 22:00 by madseason
cervello

At the end of October 2011, Swedish heavy rockers Cervello released their impressive self-titled debut album via Supernova Records.

Cervello was formed by Michel Baioni (vocals/guitar) and his brother Antonio (drums) in late 2007 with the intent to create simple modern rock tracks with strong melodies. After a couple of years they signed a deal with Supernova and started to record their debute album with the producer Henrik Edenhed at Cosmos studios in Stockholm. The band had the chance to record two songs written by the great songwriters Max Martin ("Cause I Am") and John 5 ("First Time"). The passion and the feeling for the songs were so strong that they directly became favorites when it was time to pick out singles.

To preview the album, visit Cervello's facebook page now: if you're into such band as Nickelback, Art Of Dying, 3 Doors Down, Three Days Grace you'll find something to sink your teeth into.

hoobastank

Look who's back: the once mighty Hoobastank are returning with a new single that anticipates the band's fifth major studio album, "Fight Or Flight", to be released next Summer.

The single is called "This Is Gonna Hurt" and you can preview it watching the lyric video: just click on the image on the left. Not enough? So download the song for free heading to Hoobastank's website now.

Let's hope that the new album will relaunch the Californian band's career: judging by the quite ordinary single, I have my fair share of doubts.

Jack's Mannequin

Here's Jack's Mannequin's great new video for the song "Release Me", off their last album "People And Things". Watch it now by clicking on the frame on the left.

Andrew McMahon had this to say to Buzznet, who premiered the video a couple of days ago: "For me the song "Release Me" is about that moment when you realize you've pushed or been pushed too hard. The video became a bit of a satire on the hamster wheel effect of releasing music under the influence of major corporations."
