"Dancing With A Dead Man" is the follow-up to australian heavy rock band Calling All Cars' debut album "Hold, Hold, Fire".

Produced by Tom Larkin (Shihad, The Getaway Plan, Young and Restless) and mixed by Chris Sheldon (Gun, Feeder, Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Skunk Anansie), the new album is out today via Shock Records.

"There’s definitely more of a cohesive theme running through it," says bassist Adam Montgomery about the new work. "It's not a concept record at all, but it's got a similar feel running through it, which is exactly what we wanted."

This from talented american singer/songwriter Jon McLaughlin, who released two very good album for Island Records, named "Indiana" (2007) and "Ok Now" (2008):

"...after 2 very frustrating years without a label, I decided to just make this freaking record on my own. I used my band, I recorded the songs I wanted to record, I played them the way I wanted to play them and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED it. For the first time I was able to make the record I’ve always wanted to make".

As reported many times earlier, Blue October new album "Any Man In America" is going to be released in a couple of weeks.

Brighter Brightest is a young canadian pop rock band originally from Aurora, Ontario and now based in Toronto. With an EP and several tours under their belt, the band is preparing to release their debut full length titled "Right For Me".

The album was recorded with producer Machine (Cobra Starship, Lamb Of God, Armor For Sleep, King Crimson) in New Jersey back in November and December 2010.

The first single off the album is called "Everyday": see the official video here.

Alternative rock band from New Zealand Evermore is in the studio working on a new studio album to be released in the first half of 2012. They have written and recorded an abundance of new material and, as they're finishing the job, they want to share the music with the fans.

They're planning to post new music -both full studio recordings and undeveloped acoustic songs- regularly to the "music" tab on their facebook page. Already on the page they have a full studio recording of a track "We'll Fly" (you can download it for free) and videos of rough acoustic versions of new songs "All The Way" and "Pieces". Also, enjoy a new tune they uploaded yesterday called "Messy".

If you like english indie rockers Hard-Fi, there are great news for you: the band from Surrey has set August, 22nd as release date for their new album "Killer Sounds".

The record will be out through Necessary Records/Warner and will include first single "Good For Nothing" (see the video here) and new single "Fire In The House" (hear the track here).

As previously reported, "King", the seventh studio album from american rock band O.A.R. (an acronym for the group's full moniker, Of A Revolution) will be out next week on Wind-up Records.
