fools for rowan

Fools For Rowan are an alternative rock band from Nashville, TN, influenced by the likes of Evanescence, Kings of Leon, Paramore, Nickelback, Heart, Pat Benatar and Halestorm. The band, led by talented singer Erin Mullins, was recently named to the list of "Hot 100 Live Unsigned Artists and Bands" by Music Connection magazine.

Fools For Rowan have started a Kickstarter campaign to help completing the recording of their new cd. So if you like them, follow this link and make a pledge.

The band is hoping to receive at least $10,000 worth of pledges to finish the cd, and every dollar above that amount will go towards recording more songs for the album, filming a video, touring and promoting.
If you still don't know the band, you can start from watching the video for their song "Dead" and visiting their facebook page.
butch walker

Straight from Butch Walker's mouth: "Do you remember the movie "Dazed And Confused"? Me too. It was and still is one of my favorite movies. Reflects my childhood so much, and also Ben Affleck is a TOTAL asshole in it. I gotta say though, when it comes to classic characters, Matthew McConaughey's "Wooderson" took the cake… and the high school girls with him…   so, to commemorate the 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the filming and inception of this amazing movie, we brought a little someone from the film back to be the life of the party for our new video for the song "Synthesizers".

"The song lyrics really relate to just about anyone who has a hard time moving on with the changes that life throws at you. So without further ado… enjoy and you're welcome!".
In this awesome video, besides Matthew and Butch, you can also find famous porn actor Ron Jeremy doing a little cameo. Watch the clip now by clicking on the image above.
"Synthesizers" is the new single off Butch Walker And The Black Widows' album "The Spade", released last August on Dangerbird Records.

feeder

As previously reported, Feeder's new single is called "Borders" and is out January 30th 2012. The band has just released a cool  video for the single: enjoy it (and Grant's new haircut) now by clicking on the frame on the left.

"Borders" is the first single off Feeder's new album "Generation Freakshow", produced by frontman Grant Nicholas with the help of Matt Sime (who already collaborated with the welsh group on "Silent Cry" and "Renegades") and set to be released on March 26, 2012 through the band's own label Big Teeth Music.

This is what Grant said about "Generation Freakshow": "It's much more eclectic than "Renegades"... it's definitely a more commercial record. I think if you liked "Comfort In Sound" and "Yesterday Went Too Soon", then you'll like this album".

Ryan Star

Who doesn't like free music? I do of course, expecially when it comes from talented artists like ex-Stage and Rock Star Supernova's frontman Ryan Star.

Ryan is giving away his great new EP "The America", that includes three previously unreleased songs along with a cover of Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down". Download it for free following this link.

Ryan just finished a tour as support act for the Goo Goo Dolls during the October-November 2011 stretch of their "Something For The Rest Of Us Tour", while during last spring our man got the main support slot for selected dates on Bon Jovi's American arena tour.

SAY ANYTHING about Anarchy mercoledì, 18 gennaio 2012 22:44 by madseason

Californian indie punkers Say Anything will release their fourth studio album, "Anarchy, My Dear", produced by Tim O'Heir (Juliana Hatfield, Superdrag, The Rocket Summer), on March 13th, 2012 through Equal Vision Records.

Say Anything frontman Max Bemis said about the album that it "is our first attempt to write a true "punk" record; thematically speaking, it’s a collection of songs about subverting society and destroying the boundaries humankind has placed upon ourselves both physically and in our minds. Coincidentally, it also happens to be the first record we’ve made in years where we had total freedom to explore our ‘edgier’ side and present a raw picture of what the band is truly about onstage."   Watch the lyrics video for the first single "Burn A Miracle" here.

Watch the new, wonderful, animated video for "Burn Away", a great track from The Hollow Glow, the brainchild of Ben Carroll, best known as a member of the Universal recording act Ra.

The animation of the video is superlative and comes courtesy of 2-D artist Anthony Francisco Sheppherd. For further info on Anthony and his art, take a look at his site: themanimator.com.
