Chicago based rock band Company Of Thieves has just released the video for their single "Death Of Communication". You can watch it here on the left.

A few weeks ago the band also released a homemade clip with a pretty acoustic rendition of the song. Get it on youtube.

"Death Of Communication" is the first single off "Running From A Gamble", the second album for the band fronted by histrionic vocalist Genevieve Schatz.

Cary Brothers is an indie singer-songwriter from Los Angeles who first gained national attention for his song "Blue Eyes" on the Grammy-winning "Garden State" Soundtrack.

Southern poprockers Son Of A Bad Man are in the process of recording a batch of new songs for their full length album.

To get some help for the making of the record, the floridians have launched a campaign on Kickstarter, one of the largest funding platform for creative projects.

The goal of SOABM is to reach the amount of two thousand dollars. This would cover the entire recording process of the album and a portion of the mixing/mastering of it.

"We're not trying to go into some huge recording studio with some big-name producer this time" the guys say, "We took our time and found someone we trust with facilities that will more than accommodate the sound we are looking for at a great price. Basically, we are asking for the bare minimum that it would take to get this album done."

This is the video for Dredg's song "Upon Returning", included in their new album "Chuckles and Mr. Squeezy".

The video was recently shot in San Francisco with art director Merkley, who also designed and shot Dredg's new press photos. "It was easily the most fun and interesting video we’ve done to date. Let’s just say that now we’ve all swam in suits and dress shoes, and we have some bruises on our faces" explains guitarist Mark Engles.   Dredg's next video shoot is going to be with illustrator Alex Pardee and Stephen Reedy for the song "The Thought Of Losing You".

Black Lab is one of my favorite independent rock bands and this is the official music video for "This Ship Goes Down Deep" from their last album "Two Strangers", released in October 2010.

The clip is the fruit of a video contest launched some weeks ago. The winner of the contest is Bhu Sullivan, a photographer & filmmaker who turned the song into a kaleidoscope of fairground images, like a wild dream featuring a public domain Ava Gardner.

From the press release: "One Less Reason delivers deep, meaningful hard rock on their fourth album, "Faces & Four Letter Words", released today via Arsenic Records.

Faces & Four Letter Words was released independently in August 2010 debuting at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
