More Skeletons from MISSIO sabato, 17 febbraio 2018 14:07 by madseason
MISSIO - Skeletons Part II

Alternative/electronic band MISSIO, from Austin, TX, released a new EP titled Skeletons Part II last February 2.

Just like Part I, The Part II EP features acoustic versions of songs from Missio's debut album Loner, and an unreleased track, this time being I Run To You.

In the band's words: "MISSIO started with one song and that song was I Run To You. We received so much love three years ago around the world and it helped jump-start everything that would eventually become the Loner record. We are so excited to re-release this song as well as the remainder of the Loner record in its bare and intimate form."

NOMY: They Said I Was Special martedì, 13 febbraio 2018 23:25 by madseason
Nomy - They Said I Was Special

Nomy is a one-man band featuring brilliant Swedish artist Patrick Marquardt. Most of his music comes from his computer. It's a way that gives the artist complete freedom and maximum control of his works. All Nomy's songs are based on feelings, experiences and general thoughts about the world and it's inhabitants. This is what makes it understandable how the songs can go from an easygoing ballad to hard metal - the music doesn't follow the generic standards but follows Nomy's thoughts and feelings, creating the 'Nomy sound'.

I already featured Nomy last year, when he released the infectious single Notorius, a song that is now included in Patrick's latest EP, They Said I Was Special. The EP was released last month and is led by the new single of the same name. If you like highly entertaining quality music and band like Linkin Park, HIM and Fall Out Boy, then check this awesome EP clicking on the image.

All I Have: new single for BETA STATE sabato, 10 febbraio 2018 19:20 by madseason
Beta State - All I Have

San Francisco alternative pop rockers Beta State have recently released a new single: titled All I Have, is a song that's working well both on alt-pop and EDM media.

Here what the band said about All I Have: "Usually when we write songs together there is tons of back and forth, changing of parts, etc... this song was special in that most of the parts ended up staying true to the original demos. Justin was making beats one day and ended up crafting an amazing instrumental. It was a rare occasion where Matt and I didn't feel the need to change too much of it but rather just enhance what was already there. On a road trip between Los Angeles and San Jose I started singing what would end up becoming the hook, then Matt expanded on the new direction and crafted a deeper meaning to the lyrics, fleshing out the rest of the song. In the end we all gave a few general comments to each other on how to make it better and then signed off for mixing. Unlike the last song we released which had like 30 different versions, this one was true to the original vibe of the earlier demos."

Zodiac was produced by Jon King (Augustana, Darling Parade) and is a powerful, melodic alt-rock collection that melds influences ranging from Incubus to Halsey.

Only One: the evolution of VERMILLION ROAD venerdì, 26 gennaio 2018 21:15 by madseason
Vermillion Road - Only One

Alternative pop-rock band Vermillion Road is releasing their new single Only One today, January 26, 2018.

Only One is an addictive, synth-driven song influenced by bands like Imagine Dragons, OneRepublic and Young the Giant. Only One captures the essence of the band's newly evolved sound: starting as a hard rock band, Vermillion Road fully embraces this new direction and brings the high energy into the alternative pop genre.

Vermillion Road have made a name for themselves in the Denver music scene. Playing at events such as the Vans Warped Tour and Coors Light Westword Music Showcase has led to them appearing throughout the Southwest U.S. on radio and television. The band's leaders Will Robison (vocals) and Hunter Heurich (guitar) have been playing music together since they were teenagers. Both of these original band members have synesthesia, the joining of a person's senses: for Robison and Heurich, this means hearing a certain sound resulting in the visualization of a certain color.

Listen to Only One on digital music platforms worldwide and keep watch for their forthcoming EP, due out later this year.
