This is from a couple of months ago, but I hadn't featured it yet.

It's the video for the first single from Eskimo Joe's new album "Ghosts Of The Past", released one month ago via their own label Dirt Diamonds Production.

The single is titled "Love Is A Drug", and you know what to do to watch the video...

Click on the image to watch the new Butch Walker and The Black Widows video for "Summer of '89", the first single off their brand new album "The Spade".

Butch & Co. teamed up with "The Royal Tenenbaums" and "Rushmore" star Seymour Cassel for this video: "When my video director, Shane Valdez, said Seymour Cassel wanted to star in it as the "video director", that was just icing on the poundcake" tells Butch to Rolling Stone. "The idea was to borrow some ideas from really bad rock videos in the late Eighties and put them in perspective now". Enjoy!

HANSON cover Weezer martedì, 6 settembre 2011 21:34 by madseason

Tulsa pop rockers Hanson covered Weezer's 2006 hit "Troublemaker" in this week's installment of Billboard Mashup Mondays.

"Weezer's an amazing band… What I've always admired is the fact that they really have an identifiable thing going, which is sort-of-pop songs -- but heavy," singer Taylor Hanson says of why they went with Weezer for their Mashup Mondays performance. "'Troublemaker' is such a cool attitude-ridden track."

MARIANAS TRENCH new video with beautiful actress lunedì, 5 settembre 2011 17:36 by madseason
marianas trench

Canadian rockers Marianas Trench have just released the video for their new single "Haven't Had Enough" which bassist Mike Ayley says is a preview of the theme of the band's new album, "Ever After". Canadian fans can look for "Ever After" in stores in October, while US fans will have to wait until 2012 for the album's release.

In my humble opinion, the single sucks but the video is entertaining and the leading actress is gorgeous: she's the real reason why I'm featuring this song on my blog. Do you know her name? Click on the image on the left to watch the video on YouTube.

IAMDYNAMITE to release debut album domenica, 4 settembre 2011 22:14 by madseason
iamdynamite - supermegafantastic

IAMDYNAMITE came to my attention being the opening band for the current Blue October's american tour. They are an indie-rock duo (Chris Martin aka C-Mart and Chris Phillips aka C²) that is gonna release their debut album "SUPERMEGAFANTASTIC" on September 13th, via Brando Records.

They're managed by Blue October's bass player Matt Noveskey, who also produced the album, with Jay Ruston (Bowling For Soup, Metallica, Jars Of Clay, Meat Loaf) mixing it.

IAMDYNAMITE style is quite unique: just guitars and drums with an indie raw approach, groovy hooks and somewhat of a western movie soundtrack feel.

Confused? You can judge by yourself, as the whole album is available for streaming here.
